EWO - Telco Package
Built for Rural Utility Service RDUP(RUS) Providers
CT&T is a value added reseller(VAR) of Byers Spatial Age™ Software, providing support services, including conversion of existing paper records, end user training, and if required administrative services for the EWO System.
Engineering Work Order, EWO-Telco Package provides Am/FM/GIS functionality for the RDUP(RUS) telecom companies. It allows engineers to produce new designs efficiently and maintain a master facility model while enforcing RDUP(RUS) business rules and generating RDUP(RUS) codes.
Extension of EWO
The EWO-Telco package is an extension of the core EWO System, incorporating all of its robust features and functionality. The functionality has been extended to include RDUP(RUS) code generation, land base management, productive point and linear feature placement, as well as subscriber and service assignments. Byers Spatial Age has leveraged it's extensive telecommunications knowledge to develop software products that meet your business needs in a practical way. These products are easy to learn and easy to use.
Productive Linear Placement
The EWO-Telco package incorporates advanced automated linear features such as street centerline or expanded right of way.
Packaged for RDUP(RUS)
The EWO-Telco package is specifically configured for RDUP(RUS) independent telecommunications companies. The system assures that facilities are captured based on the latest RDUP(RUS) codes. The facility interfaces allow the user to select the facility characteristics from which the RDUP(RUS) code is programmatically derived.
 Intelligent Land base
The package incorporates the ability for users to place intelligent land base features such as streets, railroads, governmental boundaries and water. The intelligent street features include address ranges used to locate customer service locations from the land base. This enhancement enables users to easily locate a map, street or address.
Subscribers and Assignments
In EWO-Telco, users can place service locations, create subscribers then assign services to subscribers. The services are assigned to cable/pair by service class (1FR, 1FB, DSL, ADSL, etc.). The integration of the assignment capability provides up to date utilization capacities on both cables and terminals.
CATV
The CATV module is included in EWO-Telco and provides the capability to build and maintain CATV records. This CATV enhancement provides the utility company a complete CATV record, including a Continuing Property Record(CPR), from the head end to the subscriber.
FTTP Module
The newest enhancement to EWO-Telco is the Fiber to the Home module. With this newest addition to EWO-Telco, the capability now exists to design the placement of Fiber to the Home or Node. Design rules are an integral part of this module ensuring that connectivity exists from the Optical Light Terminal(OLT) to the Optical Network Terminal(ONT) at this subscriber home. Other features include, Fiber Cross Connect Manager, Fiber Trace Reports and Fiber Splice Details.
